Sunday, January 29, is the Fifth Sunday of the month. At Good Shepherd, our worship is always slightly different on the Fifth Sunday. If joining us on Sunday, I suggest you wear something that signifies your favorite sports team (hat, jersey, etc.) and bring a nonperishable food item for the soup kitchen. We will celebrate Superbowl (a week early). The day is entitled Superbowl and "Soup"er Bowl Bash. We will talk about dancing with the Lord (based on Ecclesiastes 3:1-14) and serving with the Lord (based on Matthew 25:31-40)

To proclaim the Good News of the Gospel and witness to God's redeeming love through Jesus Christ our Lord. We pray that we may grow in the knowledge and love of God, striving to become more like Christ. May our fellowship in Christ bring more of His Spirit into our lives, our homes, our communities, our nation, and our world. We covenant as individuals and as a church to initiate and support local, national, and world wide efforts to establish love, justice and healing among all persons. |
